Ditto that, and the expression on the little fella! :)

Looking good Dom :) Where do you go for the shoots? Fairly local to you I assume?

One from me, not the best pan but when you are stood 30ft from something doing 140+ it's quite hard ;):D

Thanks Pete :)

I was quite fortunate that he was sleeping when I got there. Managed about 10-15 minutes before he woke and became a crying wriggling monster!

I could never do that stuff. My new mantra (outside of wildlife togging) is, if it can't buy me a drink, I won't take it's photo.

Was too busy to post this at the time but am I the only one who thinks this is BS?

Dear Jonathan A Dale:

We are currently developing a mobile application called Lamborghini Genius that will be sold in both the Apple and Android markets under the publisher name NW Apps LLC. This mobile application will contain various pictures of Lamborghinis and we are requesting the use of your high quality photo located here:

Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder Performante LP570-4
Taken on October 22, 2011
www.flickr.com/photos/jonathanadale/6529573105/in/photostream/ (external link)

The pictures that will be used in this app are for commercial purposes. In the app, users will have the option to save, share, and set as wallpaper on their device, so some cropping may be needed.

We believe that you, Jonathan A Dale, are currently the holder of the copyright, as the original work states that copyright is held in your name. If you do not currently hold the rights, please provide us with any information that can help us contact the proper rights holder.

Otherwise, your permission confirms that you hold the right to grant this permission.
This request is for a non-exclusive and royalty-free permission, and it is not intended to interfere with other uses of the same work by you. We would be pleased to include a full citation to your work and other acknowledgement as you might request.

We would greatly appreciate your permission. If you require any additional information, do not hesitate to contact us.

If you agree with the terms as described above, please email us at nwappsllc@gmail.com (external link) so that we may send you the copyright release form to sign and send back. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

NW Apps LLC

So they are developing a paid for app but I get to work for free? Not happening.

Back home at last....

Had a fantastic time over there, everything I could have expected. I didn't spend much time in any wildlife photography as I was driving Tommy (tommykjenson) all of the time and ensuring he got good shots.

I did manage to snap a few, however.

Cheeky sods. The fact they don't realise what they're asking for makes you want to laugh and cry at the same time.

I'm in a muddle, can't choose what body to go for, 60D, 70D or 7D? Was going to go for the 6D but have decided on a 1.6 body.
