I just bought my brand new 60D delivered for the same price! Delivered next day. :D

Appropriate username to post relation

But in seriousness, i bought my 60D in January with 5k clicks for $580.

Matters not to me if others found a better deal, i don't regret my decision one bit :D

I'm always laughing, life's too short to not enjoy yourself.

Sorry Radders if my comment came over the wrong way, it wasn't intentional. It is a great camera and well worth the price and more. Although I may not be using it to it's full as yet! Hopefully I will in time.

Not at all, I've actually gone and got a new one for the same money, long story short is that I had to give the money to someone else to buy it (my dad, I'm only using a Business account these days and didn't fancy buying a camera on that account, wouldn't have gone down to well with the other half - shes my business partner too ;) ) and he found me a better deal, that's dads for you! :)

Just wait....I went from a T3,which is no slouch, to this camera and the difference in feel, performance and quality was amazing. You are going to want to hold it all the time.

The cost of a given model of camera ends up being relative. How close to the model's release did you purchase yours? Did you buy after the dust settled and then bought new or did you wait a while and buy a refurb from Canon Direct or Adorama, etc.?

I bought my 60D in April of 2012 when Canon Direct was having one of its semi-regular 20% off sales on select models. I think I paid right around $700 delivered. When I see the current prices ($599), it makes me glad for those who are upgrading at the present time. It's a great price on a fine camera.

I'm very pleased with my 60D. That said, I have been watching the results people are getting from the newly released 70D. My current guess is if I end up buying a new body, I'll likely wait to see if the 7D Mk 2 becomes a reality and see what changes are incorporated in that Canon offering.

Old School 60D users - who can chime in that you were a member of either the original 1st or 2nd incarnation of this thread? (now 4th)

I'm wondering if anyone has heard from or knows about Ranger50.
Rivest and macroshooter were a few 'originals' but at the moment I forget other names...

Just sent him (Ranger50) a message... last we heard he had major flooding in his area and he was helping neighbors. He's a war vet.

This is just constructive criticism. It has got potential but why have you focused on just about the most un-interesting bit of the guitar. The other bits higher up look far more intricate and interesting.

I love this image!
I have many more that do focus on the pick ups and strings and have more D.O.F. but I like that it focuses on the bridge and fades out.

And That is why I have focused on just about the most un-interesting bit of the guitar! :)
