They all look fantastic! Great job. Especially like number 1, but the ones with the guitar tell a story. Is she standing on something in #2? Almost looks like she's levitating a hair above the water.

In the water pic, she's actually standing in a shallow section on some rocks.

Thanks for the kind comments.

Mike

On my monitor, at least, one and two have a green cast to them. It's really strong in pic one.

Nice set of photographs! I'm seeing a green cast too, especially in photo 1. Other than that, nice work! You really seemed to have captured her!

Wonderful series and a lovely young lady. I love the composition. Very well done. However, I do agree the skin tones are off on images 1 and 2. I don't think it would take much to fine-tune the skin tones. Again, well done.

Lovely pose and composition.
Have to agree with the green bias on the first two also.
Shot 4 has a very tight crop, losing the top of the guitar and placing the bottom tight to the base of the frame, a small step back (if able) may have got the end of the guitar in full, and introduce a little space at the bottom. Alternatively, raising the guitar angle may have seen it in the viewfinder.
Not saying that's correct, it may have been the composition you were seeking.

Tons of enthusiasm, loads of kit, limited skill...

Very nice. A great looking model, the camera loves her.

A few negatives. I'm not a fan of the processing on the colour ones. On the b/w of her playing the guitar, her face gets lost in the shadows. A little bit of a rim light or a reflector would have helped. And in the last b/w, the highlights are a little hot.

Other than that, I think these are all very good.

I would have to agree with the cast over the first two. But I'm color blind, so I can't say how much it is compared to what everyone else can. I too am not a huge fan of the PP on the first two, I think it is just a little much. But as far as the images themselves, I really like these. They come across as very personable.
