Some Natural and unnatural light shots

Yesterday was quite dull and overcast so I took advantage to do some natural light shots, something I have never tried before in macro.

Love the natural light shots as everything is so softly diffused. Did you use a tripod? I only ask because a Praying Mantis is the type of insect that will stay still long enough to shoot with a long exposure using a tripod.

The natural light shots do not always work better than flash, but in this case they are beautiful.

Ish, these are beautiful. The natural light shots are just simply sublime. Would love to know your EXIF on those.

As for the unnatural lights, just as beautiful. I always enjoy viewing your images.
