Another great shot Paul - which tubes do you have on to get this close?

I had all 3 tubes on m8, 13, 21 & 31mm.

Paul.

Anyone with the 40 Pancake STM - can you please relay your video and video AF experience please? I read in a review that the EF 40mm Pancake STM is the least desirable for video of the STM's... so I want to know why and what you think...

Thanks!

PS. I have the 40

I'd like to know too!
I've gotten close with a moth but only with the MP65 and never the 90mm macro or the 150mm macro:

Mine arrived today :) Here's my 38th picture from it, I normally sharpen etc in LR to enhance my macros a little but I've left this one unedited on purpose. Shot with an MP-E65 lens at 1:1 and a diffused twin flash. For some reason pictures never look as sharp on this forum so it might be worth looking at it on flickr or downloading it.

So far I'm quite pleased with the general handling, view finder, shutter response etc. I've upgraded from a 650D so these little things are quite noticable.

Camera Canon EOS 70D
Exposure 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture f/16.0
Focal Length 65 mm
ISO Speed 100

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

a tiny feature upgrade from the 60D that does not enjoy much media attention that can help in various ways... the always-on VF level...

Signature updated :) I'm not expecting a huge increase in quality regarding my macros but we'll see. All the new features like the AF zoning etc will help with my motorsport, birds etc though hopefully.

Nice photo.

The bigger question, however, may be, "why is he on the furniture"... :)

I am with you on that. Since I shoot a lot of architecture, this feature is very useful. I have it on at all times.
