I am a DSLR shooter, but I had a friend asking for advice on a new camera in the sub-$200 range. She doesn't want a DSLR, but a P&S of some sort. What do you think the best value is right now, Canon or otherwise?
Thanks!

I know her last camera was not a real small compact, but one that sort of looks like a mini-SLR. I don't think she has much preference whether the new one is or not though.
