"Old" and "friend" doesn't work as exuse for weird title.
If you are buying lens used, make sure you see actual pictures and it shows lens in full view.
At this case if seller is jerk, who switched the lens, e-bay, PayPal will cover you.

Vet the sell to see they are trust worthy. It is the same in eBay or here. Fuji XE-1, Zeiss ikon, Hasselblad; I love shooting film as a conceptual idea

I have had no issues with any camera gear. A general rule is to only go for sellers with 100% positive feedback and a history of selling camera gear. eBay/PayPal do a great job in covering the buyer if the item is faulty or wrong. Now you are out the item AND the money and thats OK with you? The key words in my statement were "at fault" and "refuses"...

I am an experienced Ebayer, and I know the symptoms of a bad seller. This seller had a feedback score of 366 with 100% positive feedback. He does not have 100% anymore though. Just goes to show you as a seller, you need to make sure you're selling the standard of quality you advertise. Even if you've been selling for a long time. WEBSITE

What feedback did you give him - Negative or Neutral? If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

Negative because of how he resolved it. He was kind of rude in his response that a case had been opened. I sent the item back and there was no response for him for days after it was delivered (it took me two days and half the cost i paid to return it with the same shipping it had taken hIm 10 to send it). I sent him multiple messages asking if he had received it, and got no response. Finally ebay sent me a message saying he had agreed to refund my money and original shipping. I haven't heard a word from him though. No hint of apology or even a message confirming he received the package. The silent treatment is not the way to make friends with someone who you messed up an order for. That's why negative. WEBSITE

I learned a long time ago communication goes a long way, especially if there is a problem. If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?
