Leica M6. But that's probably not going to be a popular choice...

I'll switch to mirrorless when the industry moves but at the moment I don't mind humping my DSLR and a couple of lenses when I want to shoot. And I'm trying to get out of having kit just to have it. So I'd go for a a 24-70 or 150-500 personally Twitter: @1kWordsPhotog

The Limited series lens are small, made of high quality aluminum, very well rated . I have the 40mm Limited F2.8 pancake, the 70mm Limited F 2.4 Limited and I'm very pleased with their performance. There are a fair number of Limited lenses...21mm wide angle, 31mm, 40mm, 70mm F 2.4, 77 mm F 1.8 and for macro...the 100mm (not a Limited, but built to the same exacting standards). This would give you the 16.2 MP ASP-C, Sony sensor(same used in Nikon)...which is a bit bigger than the Canon ASP-C sensor. Check out reviews for the compact Pentax K-5 11s....excellent ratings and the 's'...means the AA filter has been removed. Only other cameras I can think of without the AA filter...are the Nikon D800E and the Leica rangefinder. Pentax doesn't advertise much, which is a shame because their equipment is more than competitive. BTW...digital wise, I have Panasonic, Canon and Pentax equipment.
