Ken, yeah sometimes you have no choice. I know each place is different, but I never seen where one can't go around the field. Also, shooting into the Sun gives a different look; it forced you to try something new, which turned out nice.

Al

Lol - thanks Al - I was happy with them too, and exactly for the reason of being put in a position where I had to adapt to the situation - always good when one learns something on top of enjoying the outing! Yes, I thought it was rather petty not allowing access to their side of the field...we've had a long running rivalry - but really - I'm there to capture everybody, so their loss.

Brad21, you may want to go to the opposide of the field, if you can, so that you won't have the parking lot and bldgs. in your background.

Mesakid, you want to watch the horizons.

Al

We had bright, direct sun in our faces on the other side of the field. Moved over once the sun set.

I've always liked these sort of images.

Question: Does this site jack up the photos, because it doesn't look as sharp here than on my computer?

I think the images are degraded a touch here...

My son had a good game despite a pretty big loss. He's #45, with the ball.

Was the big guy on camera left of the ball carrier added in post? It just looks like he is on a separate layer than everything else.
