Thanks Kim, we are lucky to get quite a few sunsets, it certainly helps me step back and gaze every now and again!!

Jon,

We have great sunsets here in Florida but I have to drive somewhere to see them. Our house is sort of in the middle of a pine forest and in addition to that, you can't see the horizon from anywhere in our development.

Anyway, I really liked your photograph. I do agree, we could all benefit from slowing down a bit and taking the time to enjoy the every day life stuff that surrounds us.

Still not got my 60D, it's sat at my parents and they were meant to be coming up tomorrow but something has got in the way which couldn't be helped so I'm unsure when I get it now!

We have 2! :)

Would love two but it wouldn't be fair on them, as we bring Olive into work and she has her own space so it would need making bigger which isn't viable. :(

Here's a photo of Olive..

^ The above vessel was on a 5 day visit to Collingwood Ontario, on Georgian Bay (considered the 6th Great Lake) off-chute of Lake Huron. Here is a link to its website which includes a google map showing its current location at any time. :)

I have had a brain freeze many times, and as I get older they come around much more often than I would like, but I never knew what a brain freeze looks like! That looks pretty bad!

Great pic! I LOVE it! Thanks for posting this one!!!!!!!!

This body is fantastic, however, why don't wedding photography companies use crop body. In my city, most wedding photography companies use full-frames body (most of them use 5d Mark II body & EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM lens)
