Would like to see shots too, thinking of getting a TC with this lens on a 60D.

I have the Sigma TC2x for this. It works fair, but only for stationary objects. Moving, forget it. I was able to use it on an Osprey nest with youngins, and on a ship in harbor. They weren't exactly tack sharp, but there weren't too bad.

I am not 100% disappointed with it, but if I had it to do over again, I might skip the cost of a TC.

Slightly cropped, less than 10%. Point blank shot. Very calm duck, actually had to back up a little to get him within the minimum focus distance.

The TC is being bought for lens rental so I don't have to keep renting one of them too, but will try it on the 50-500 (Bigma) for a giggle, just because of the curiosity! :)

Quick question for the 150-500 users.

Is this better optically than the 50-500 Sigma, or is this a 'can of worms' question. Just that I'm looking to buy a lens very soon and would like the best one. Not to bothered about losing the 50-150 as I will have a second body to cover that..

Cheers :)

I've owned both and the 50-500 OS is optically the better lens, but bang for buck wise the 150-500 wins.

Maybe its you.

No it is not me. It is me and the vast majority of people that have tried. Lets see your super sharp picture with the TC and this lens.

I second that. 2x tele does not work well on this lens. I too have tried.

Thank you. I'm trying to look out for it but the skies aren't cooperating. Hazy and cloud cover.
