Who would like to take a guess at my favorite band that I covered tonight?

So what I found and would change...

First I feel that the slideshow is a bit too slow, not sure if you can increase the speed a little. The only reason I made it through it is because I am sitting here watching fights and I let it play.

Second, the dropdown menu, I feel that it should open to "About Me"', then your Blog, then the other content.

Third brings me to the blog. Last updated on 12/29/12, for me, when I go through sites and see content that is not current I usually lose interest. You go to a lot of shows, I would bring this up to date. Everything I have read about blogs say that a minimum of two posts a week to keep interest going. It could be as simple as a photo from a show, just seeing a current date would keep me reading.

Fourth, "About Me", I would update it with some fresh information, example, you were the cover page of The Big Takeover for four covers, if I was holding the current issue of the mag would your info be correct? That's all, just something a bit different to read.

Fifth, Guestbook. I see entries that people have left for you, I would respond to them, people like interaction, especially when giving you praise. I saw comments in another section to that you could respond to, anything, hey, thanks for looking, you know what I mean.

These aren't "critiques" so much as just the way I like to see sites/blogs, all of this is my personal observation and not meant to be offensive.

Joe, thanks for the feedback, appreciated. all valid points.

Anyone watch the Pats?

Nail bitter of a game, bit worried with the quick turnaround though

Yeah I managed to catch it while up in Montreal for the week. Was expecting at bit larger margin of victory but I'll take the "W". Brady is going to whoop a few offensive member's butts tomorrow morning at practice though

Managed to destroy both my Dell U2410s during my move. Dropped one of them, some items rubbed against the other one.

What are you guys using for monitors?

I have a "Catleap" / Shimian / ebay 27" 2560x1440 monitor. Google around, there's loads of reviews and info on them. Can be had for a great price and they're really impressive!

I run a very similar monitor, the Dell G2410. I love the LED backlight and won't go back to the traditional florescent backlight as that is what died on my old monitor.

I just use an Apple Cinema Display (the older aluminum ones).

Here is another post about CC. While i'll admit 9.99 is fair, i'm one of those Scott describes as anti-subscription model. And i'm ok with that. I will hang on to my CS6 and LR4 for the foreseeable future. We'll see if they can bring in some features that will force me to upgrade, but i have to say, i'm pretty damn happy with CS6 and LR4.

Okay, Harm. I got Lightroom 5 in the mail on Friday. I should be able to upgrade from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion for another $20 - I believe my late 2008 Macbook meets the specs.

Convince me why I should upgrade from LR4 to LR5. I am experiencing no speed issues.

Otherwise, I'll create a post in the FS in forum for local folks only OR return to BH. (I don't think stating that violates any rules, especially since it's not for sale at this moment in time. I'm an attorney by training, so I like to walk these grey lines.)

Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.
