Quite unexpectedly came across a kidney-spot ladybird the other day sitting on my car. I actually thought it was a pine ladybird until I came to post the shots on flickr and then had doubts and got it ID'd on WAB. This is the last of the 3 small black and red ladybirds we get in the UK.
I've included older shots of the other 2 species.

I would say its the same specie on all shots, thanks for telling (and showing) otherwise. I should start paying more attention to this little fellows :)
