wow. some of those are actually quite attractive
i am a big fan of my 24-105 IS
but if they come out with a new one with their OS and compatible with the USB dock
and with less 24mm distortion
I would be really quite interested! :)

but photokina is sept 2014 and that is a looooong time away

Sigma 24-70mm f/2 OS HSM

Sigma 400mm f/2.8 OS

The 24-70 may make me wish I hadn't bought the 35 f/1.4

The 400 f/2.8 would be sweet, as well.

I'll take the 135, 50 and 24-105. :D

If these lenses are as sharp as Sigma's latest offerings, they will hurt Canon for sure.

I'm not saying Canon's glass is bad. The problem is that Canon wants to price their lenses like they are spare parts for Rolls-Royce.

Yes, but I'd personally rather see Sigma do something unique rather than just copy the 24-105L. Maybe make f/2.8, that would get people's attention.

And I keep hoping they offer an updated 100-300 f/4 with OS. I would probably buy that on release day.

Yeah, their strength seems to be in offering lenses that the big Mfgr's don't. The only reason to buy the 24-105 would be cost. Maybe Sigma see a possible opening here.. meaning; they see the writing on the wall, that Canon is going to do away with the 24-105.. that would leave Sigma a focal-range to themselves (not to mention all the used 24-105L's on the market).

Maybe the Sigma can beat the current 24-105 image quality-wise, especially in bokeh.

That said, it's pretty hard to compete against a kit lens...
