Canon C300 shot in 50i @ 1080p but it's still 25 frames?

I shot with the c300 for the first time, I shot it at 50 frames at 1080p .. when I export it , it registers it as 25 frames ? It's really important I get a fix since the whole video is being shot in strictly slow motion .

50i is 25 frames a second interlaced.

Yeah, it was a beginners mistake lol. I found out after and had to go back and re-shoot it .. won't be making that mistake again! lol
