well done images Russ
I am not a vet, but as a human doctor, I know a LOT about crystals/stones in human's urinary tract. so tell me what type crystals they were (calcium, uric acid, oxalate, etc)
and even when follow the right diet, you can still get crystals with lack of hydration and excessive water loss due to heat. For humans, I recommend a LOT of water during the summer to dilute the urine, making crystals less likely to form. I have dogs, not cats, but what I would do for a dog would be give them ice, they love that, even if not thirsty. Don't know about cats but best of luck
I don't know about you guys, but my vet went to work for PetSmart, and they have an "insurance" plan (severals levels) and the one I got cost $25/month per pet and you can see the vet any time you want at no charge, get 10% off of food and most other PetSmart purchases, medicines and labs and vaccines are either included or significantly discounted. Has saved me a bundle
all the best for Charlie
