Whatever! LOL

On my way back, boring skies so didn't shoot much. I'll put some recent stuff up when I get home.

No idea what's happened to Hellophoto, not been on for months (I sold it a couple of years ago).

Thanks for the heads up Tony. You guys can come and stay anytime you like down here. Off to Macau this weekend for a weeks "conference" ;-)a

There is a whole group of us heading to ChCh in December for a small wedding, I'm sure we can find away to catch up

So long and thanks for all the flash

good to hear - aside from some of the daftness that sometimes goes on, there's quite a lot of genuinely talented folks posting things too.

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
TF posting: here :-)

HP hasn't had any direction or 'ownership' since Ashley sold it. Me and the other mod have little time to give it - just try keep the spam down and chat civil.

Awesome photos!!

If you want to drive fast then come here to Germany.
My cousin was here a few weeks ago and got a fright and a bit nervous when I took her into town and was comfortably puttering along at 180 km/h. but most of the other traffic was at that speed, and the modern cars on good roads don't give you the feeling of speed at all. Here in Germany the drivers are pretty good at staying in the slow lane except when overtaking.. Well sometimes. There are of course always the exceptions.

HAPPY FRIDAY 13th

Picked up my RX8 this afternoon. Came home and decided to take for test run with family out for ice cream at Huia.

After spending a very long time in traffic  we got to the nice windy roads ...........ummmmmm fun. Handled well on corners but the bumpy roads cause the wheels to hit the wheel arch every now and then.
(could be because I had kids in back)

Got some 9000 rpm in on the trip. Enjoyed our ice ream looking out over they bay.

Came home but we wanted more driving.

On to the motorway to Bombay's and out a bit further. Finally got into 6th gear. Turned around and came home.
Some knucklehead in far lane just not moving over, finally did, short time later looked in review mirror and some cop was in hurry so pulled over to let him pass but he didn't in fact, he wanted me to pull over .........

"do you know what speed you were doing"

sorry new car getting used to it so no I don't ......... "132 km/hr" by this stage my wife's out of the car thanking him for giving her reason to do more over time.

As Ive never had a speeding ticket in my life I had no idea of cost.

$300 plus 40 demerit points  . Wife not impressed

But as an optimist I'm glad it happened and on first day.
It is very quick and it moves before you know what speed you are doing.

otherwise a quite day

That makes my day! Tony you nutter.

Bugger.....
Got pulled over myself on Saturday night, taking the daughter to the airport for the 2nd part of Police College.

No ticket issued, he got the posted speed limit wrong, still in 80k zone just before the 60k zone.

He was, however, one of the Airport Police, my daughter was sitting beside me identifying all of the bits kit that they carry, tazer etc and the 9mm on his hip.

Apparently, all of the Airport Police are armed. First time for everything I suppose!

Scary (the gun that is)

Don't post crap on this forum..... oh hang on, those are fantastic! :) Just be careful that you don't start something, next thing you know, people will be posting photos all the time.....

The impossible has begun - another step closer - and I am very hungry for it.
