^^ nailed it! I want to rig an s2k soooo bad!

I recently rig'd a 350z with some crazy wide wheels front and back for a stancenation feature.

exposure was 4 sec, f/4, ISO 800 @ 20mm It was literally dark when I finally got the rig on!

thanks! I was a little worried about the higher than normal ISO, but when it's the right exposure, the added grain/texture isn't so bad after all!

Found another one earlier and forgot to post it. I looked at Guitar Center's website too and found this. Going to GC tomorrow to see if they have one in stock.

Its 58"x10"x5". I think there would be enough give on the width to make the 2" in length for my Rig-Pro 5' Booms.

also was thinking would be a little more than 2"s with the couplers but may still work.. Kinda like the Gator bag better though

What about a camping shop, look for a tent pole bag.
Maybe a Fishing Rod case ?? 5/6/7' long..

I ordered the Gator one and I'm waiting for it to arrive at my local Guitar Center. I since the width and height are plenty wide and tall, the boom poles should be able to use that towards the overall length. It should be here in 3-5 days.

The only thing I didn't like about the other ones are that the are too tall and wide. The booms are 2" diameters so 4"x4". I plan on using a microfiber blanket to wrap the poles up in the bag so they don't bang around.

I'll update when I get the bag.

i don't really like the threaded stuff, but 24ft sounds awesome!! I would personally go 4 sections at 6ft each, just because that's less pieces total to transport and screw together each time you want to use/adjust length, but if you can carry 6, 4ft pieces easier than go for it! Keep us posted.

It has to fit compactly into my car afterwards, so it's essential that it can be broken down. I still need a recommended thickness for the pipe to thread. also a total weight would be nice. I can go either 1/4 inch thickness or 1/8th, I would love to know what the standard is.
