Sell this one to the Ocean Conservancy so they can use it for their annual worldwide beach cleanup publicity. Or donate it. They may not want to pay, being a non-profit.

Technically, judging from the gestalt and the right foot, the image might be leaning just a bit to the left.

Joe...taking into consideration I was hand holding a Ds3 with a 300mm 2.8 lens, it's god-awful heavy for a man of my advancing years, getting the shot was a grand achievement.
Yeah, the crop could have been better, but I'm sure not gonna hang it. Thanks for looking my friend. ;)

PS, it's been a fair number of years since I herd the word "gestalt"

Cool shot but I think the bird could use a bit more light to define the body feathers more and the eye - and GBH ???

Great edit Tmoore. Now you can see that it's eye is looking directly at the yucky bit of flotsam it just picked up.

Great capture. It'd be a waste not to see this used somewhere to bring light to pollution issues. The reflection in the water is wonderful!

tmoore did nice job with the edit, however not his fault, but there is a lot of color noise in the feathers. HIs edit brought it out more.

If you want to make an environmental statement about the jetsam the GBH has picked up, don't enhance the bird. Enhance the trash that it picked up so that the wrapper becomes the point of interest and not the bird's beautiful plumage. Consider enhancing the eye and head because they point to the trash, but other than that, leave the bird alone.

Superb capture. Thanks for sharing.
