I saw this moon reflection on the Atlantic ocean while on the way to Portland.

I dont know if this is ok, I usually shoot one exposure. But having difficulty for the shot I wanted. Na taranta or pressure from kids to get back to the hotel.

I just blended two shots then one exposure for the ocean and one for the moon.

i was offered $200 Cad to use one of my pics, without restrictions regarding time, media type or reproduction quantities. Ok po ba ito? It's a landscape picture I took a few years ago. Anything I need to know before I say yes?

Many thanks in advance.

But I know fishing has nothing to do with the money or size of the catch, but all to do with the fight and eventual landing of the fish. Good for your uncle. Where do you guys go?

As for your other question maybe Tony & Butch have some insights to what you need to do to price out your photo. $200 seems reasonable for a one time deal. But it sounds like they want unlimited use of the photo. Is it a big recognizable company? Are they giving you a credit on the publication?

typically you want to license your photo per publication one time use only or as a package, say in my case with the NRA three magazines and one web page, they paid per publication...in your case who is the buyer, what kind of publication, you can give them license say for use one time in magazine, we page and even promo, or open to all their (make a list....) usage but limit the time say for one year. On the other hand if they are not that big an outfit give them non exclusive license so you can reuse the image for other purposes. They may like your images and be a regular buyer so gauge and negotiate with open mind.

thanks for the replies. its the "without restrictions regarding time, media type or reproduction quantities" that makes me think about this twice. they said they are going to use the photo to showcase small canadian towns, in this website: http://www.ypg.com/en/ (external link)

this is the photo:

i like what you said mr tony, maybe a non exclusive license so i can still use my phto for other purposes.

what do you guys think?
