We planned our trip with a 1 hour layover in VAN....

Now we love HI so much we are planning on moving to BC soon, so its only a short 5 hour flight over to HI :cool:

I dont normally do HDR, but thought I would give it a go with this pic of the little man made waterfall & garden along the Waikiki beach walk.

We've flown to Indonesia a couple times. Talk about an exhausting trip.

Hahaha....Indo is easier & quicker for me to get to than other parts of Australia are.


I can fly to Bali in about 3 and a bit hours where as it takes 4 and a half hours for me to fly to Sydney.

No pictures in this, but if you're going to on Oahu prior to 1/12/14 you might want to take in the Ansel Adams and Georgia O'Keefe exhibit at the Honolulu Museum of Art. It's on the top of my list for when I get back over there in about 10 days.

Florida to Bali is almost directly half way around the world so around 24 hours for us. There are no direct flights, unfortunately. Then there is the international date line. ;)
