7D users, help me out here. I am debating on getting a camera for wildlife to add to my 1ds and 1ds2 collection as I would like a little more reach and buy the 100-400mm L. How good is the 7D at ISO 1600-3200? I rarely go to 1600 or 3200 but would like to know if situation demands.
Does this camera have any issues I should be concerned about? How much should I pay for a 7D with about 50K actuations in very good shape, complete with the box, etc?

It does quite well especially if you ETTR 1/3 stop or more at 1600 and 2/3 stop or more at 3200.

"Morning Heron"

Caught in the early morning sunlight, this great blue heron stood in the pond behind my house. I love being able to shoot this kind of wildlife without leaving home!

Shot with a 100-400L at 400mm, 1/1,250 sec, f/5.6, ISO 400. Hand-held. Hiding behind a big forsythia bush to sneak up closer. Focus at 82 meters.

If you need fast shutter speeds 1/1000 and faster @ 3200 and higher in low light situations... then don't look at the 7D.
