Would love to, bit of a trek from Telford though..........

Anyone here built a website using wordpress? My head is about to blow apart.....

yes my website is wordpress but I'm far from an expert. I think Kev is your man. If it's very easy I may have a clue....

Thanks for all the nice comments on the pics the last few days. Unfortunately we didn't stay until today, Lola got something called haemorraghic gastroenteritis (blood coming from both ends, horrific) so she ended up in the emergency vet in Norfolk at 2am on Fri morning, so we came home yesterday afternoon to get her seen by our own vet. She's doing much better now, home, and rested, and on various meds to help her recover. Scary stuff it was like a horror film! those of you on my fb will see the pics I've linked from Carl who went back again on Friday morning - oh hang on I can show you as he has them on flickr. Great shots indeed.

Attempting some street shooting in south east London - not something I've ever really done before! Pretty scary taking photos of random strangers... Any thoughts you might have would be useful - cheers!

I really like them all. I'd just go with it - it gets less scary over time. If anyone questions you say you're doing a course at college and this is a project. Or pretend you can't speak English

OMG Penel it sounds quite frightening with your dog. Do they catch this from other infected dogs/cats?

Love the Knot pics they are truly superb.

Just 9 weeks Linda. Came to us today after what seems like an age waiting for her to be able to leave mum.

Evening all :waves:

Been away for a few days in Gran Canaria only got back yesterday morning at 5am with no sleep for 20 hours, managed to take a few pictures (Triathlon route right outside the hotel gave me some practice  ~ scenics & architecture including some HDR triplets to experiment with.....) will post when I have had time to finish the cull and PP as needed???

Oh, so many pages to speed read & admire the imagery.

@ Lee ~ I was sorry to read of Rambo and indeed the family trauma as well.

@ Wayne ~ crumbs what a torrid time that made for you. Sadly, one does hear of such things happening following retirement or other life changing events...............but nothing you can think of or see as anything that you did even though it hit you hard.

@ Richard ~ wow! some really big boys toys for sure.............is that kit being used along the line where they are redeveloping on the western edge of Reading?

@ Swaffs ~ Rich, those wedding images are great and in all things wedding it is the B&G that need to be satisfied and I gather from what you say that they are :D

@ Andy ~ some great Dunsfold images and +1 re lower shuter speed for the prop blur. As for the Wokka Wokka I think I recall having to drop to <1/60th as those blades rotate so darned slowly

@ Andy #2 ~ your new addition is cute, what a little beauty :)

@ Penel ~ what a lovely place in Norfolk you were at and with a good guide & fellow photographer to take you there at just the right time and get such beautifull mass flocks of birds. His compressed PoV images are stunners (have you invited him to join this merry troupe ;) ) Re: Lola ~ crumbs that sounds like a very nasty infection(?) & a real scare, glad she is settled and on the mend.

Sorry if I have missed anyone out above.

PS just about caught up on the sleep front

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

@ Radders ~ ooops! sorry realised I have missed the lovely Olive :D

@ Crunchie ~ great street work especially the #2 B&W of the cuddling couple.

@ Penel ~ re the dog images ~ oh the Westie and the 3 running in the surf ~ stunners :D

PS Said I had missed some ;)

That is immensely cute! Looks almost like it has too much fur - like it shouldn't be possible to be so furry!

Aww the kitten is cute Andy. Do I read that her name is Cow?! I wonder how long haired she will be - Flora is semi long haired - I love long haired cats but hate the grooming!

Linda - HGE is thought to be caused by an allergic reaction which then disturbs the gut flora causing the bloody vomiting etc. It's really awful yes. This morning Lola is loads better thank goodness - she's been for a walk with the others and everything is getting back to normal, big relief!

Thanks for the positive comments on the pics everyone!

hiya - I haven't invited Carl to join us cos a) he lives in Norfolk and b) he's from the dark side (Nikon!).... should I - don't know if it's allowed lol! you're right though, I'm very lucky to have had a guide and chauffeur that day, Snettisham is an hour 45 from where we stay, and he'd already been to check out where we should shoot from.

Penel, will show you what I've done so far.. it's not bad but I'm getting there. Just getting the layout sorted before I add photos. Love Carls top photo too!

I've been at RAF Brize Norton all day looking at 3 aircraft that are due to retire. 4 favourites from today though, not all Brize Norton.. two are from a skydiving place just north of Banbury.
