Oh Man! I meant to say something about those. They are nice, crisp, and vibrant. Job well done.

Yes it is big but I think a lot of stuff for filming seems quite large, but remember I know nothing about filming haha I'm not even sure how to start recording stuff with the 5d as I'm not into it at all lol

Pauly, with a $50 mail-in rebate, it will go down to $119. I ordered it.

I read somewhere that the 55-250 STM wasn't available until mid october but then someone said, it's out now. I checked Amazon and sure enough, you can order one now for Thursday delivery.

So I don't think I've ever done a black and white photo before. So this shot was just awful. At the show this weekend the sun was full on nuclear and so everyone parked under trees which created an awful high contrast situation. I probably will only have one or two usable shots out of about 300. :( However, I decided to try some black and white on this hot rod and it saved it. I really like how this came out.

I'd say you did pretty good considering the dynamic range you were dealing with. Better then average shadow details which are often overlooked. I wonder if a lower angle might have helped knock down that blown highlight on the top of the exhaust pipe. Flip out the LCD, switch to Live View and get low man, low!

I want that. I want that really bad. I've been eyeing one for a year now so I can get just a little more reach. Must not spend money......

Definitely wish I would have gotten lower.
