very nice 495!
that samyang 14mm and the 17-40L on my short list-
for me- the main reason for getting the 6D = landscape.

Is it safe to say that the POTN market of the 6ds is going to stay around the same price for a while? Should I just work towards buying one, or is anything coming in the near future that may make a dent in the prices?

Hope my question makes sense :)

well there doesn't seem to be a new camera from canon in the near future so you can expect the prices to remain stable with where they are now at least until the end of the year.

Got my new (refurb) 50mm f/1.4 today and here is the first shot.

Some grain and vignetting in PS - Thoughts?

Not a fan of the frame - it looks overly complicated. Is the grain intentionally added? It looks a bit like over-sharpened noise.

That is a beautiful place. I would get lost taking photos of a place like that. :)

Finally purchased Lightroom and did my very first post processing - cropped, a bit vibrance and sharpening. Now to work on my watermark.

Pic shot with the 40mm pancake - iso 100, f/2.8 at 1/1600.
