Hi guys, new to this thread: I'm not really a street photographer but it's something I've always been interested in. So today I took the plunge and headed to Borough Market in south-east London. After years of landscaping, it's quite frightening taking pictures of absolute strangers. Anyway, I'd welcome your comments and feedback...

My advice would be put away the teles and put on the wide or normal lens and get in close. Learn to use visual elements like geometry, line, leading lines, shape, repeating shapes and other visual tools to help support the subject or visual statement. Watch those trailers and see the movie when it comes out. I was lucky in regards to being able to see both Davidson and Meyerowtiz speak about and show their work when in when I was in college in the mid 1980s. Amazing photographers.
