My typical rule is when approached about something to I am looking to buy without me contacting them first, be hesitant. When Scott approached me about buying his 500, hesitant I was - especially considering his low post count. We exchanged PMs, Scott offered contact info as well as the info for the CPS person who was working on the lens. A phone call to CPS confirmed all Scott had told me, so off the money went via PP. Scott, as agreed, emailed the rep and authorized the shipment of the lens straight to me.

Lens was, IMHO, better than described and in excellent working order (as promised by both Scott and Canon CPS). Thoroughly pleased with the lens and wouldn't hesitate to deal with Scott again.
