Another really good vodka I like sipping, is Tito's Handmade Vodka. I think it is from Texas. Very smooth and clean tasting.

TX? I got to check that one out. :) yee-haw!!

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

I haven't tried any of those, but will save the link and look for them. I love trying hew beer.

And here I thought you were being a social media holdout, yet have a twitter feed. Heck, even I don't use twitter. Keeping up on facebook is more than enough for me. :)

#7, 8, & 11 are all locally brewed near here. #7 is my favorite.

I make it harm its very simple.

Pick the ripe Sloes (about 1Lb per litre of gin)

Put them in the freezer to break them up a bit.

Add the gin and the defrosted sloes to a sealable jar and give it a good shake

store in cool dark place shaking once a day for a week and then once a week for 2 months.

Make up a sugar and water syrup and add to taste.

Wonderful neat and even better mixed with champagne

I had to look up sloe gin. I've always heard of it but didn't quite know what it was.
