Sorry, but this article just p***ed me off. What an egocentric whine-fest. There would have been so many other much more relevant topics to discuss around these pictures, then "bloggers stole my pics from the Times article".

Why does anybody stands there and continues to take pictures while an other person is attacked physically instead of acting? And afterwards whine about having to hand over the pictures as evidence to convict the assaulter. This is simply beyond my understanding.

And then the article also completely missed the issue of public interest. Sometimes an issue becomes bigger and more important then your own interest. We are not talking about nice pictures of bees and flowers - but domestic abuse....

good read, it's unfortunate the copyright process is so difficult.

Pathetic whine about wanting to be paid from every blog when her image gets national coverage and goes viral.

She sold her photos to Time and a few other big name media outlets. When you get that kind of exposure, a lot of people are going to start reposting and sharing these photos either via Facebook or their own blogs. She got paid for them by the big names, the rest is just going to happen. Deal with it and move on.

I wish I could or in the future, to make enough by being a photographer so that I don't need to nickle and dime every blog site.... :)
