Love the safari shots, but especially these ^ wide shots which show the surroundings. Maybe it's just me, but the tight crops feel like they could be anywhere, even a zoo. It's the wide views which place the animals in their natural habitats

All I can say is if anybody wants to go a photographic holiday to Africa then these people (Wild Eye) are brilliant and I would recommend them whole heartily.

Thanks for including this info. I'm looking into planning a safari trip for 2015 probably. Do you think the safaris are good for non-photographers? My wife and to-be-8-year-old will be coming along as well.

Those Cheetah are amazing Mark. I'm sure we are going to see a lot of your new work in the press. We're you able to shoot anything from the Indiana Jones Express? I bet the Wildebeast would have looked great from above.

You must be so happy to have won the trip, but hat off to you mate you thoroughly deserved it.

Right, where's my money bank!

cheers fella, I did take a pic or two with my phone I will try and show you in a bit if I can find a lead somewhere, we could see the two pilots upfront and one was reading a flying manual before we took off :shock:

I have lots of shots that show both, and yes they were excellent and they also do non-photographic trips as well which dosent mean you can take photos its just not geared up to be out all day taking photos which is better for wives and children if you know what I mean..

Don't suppose you have any photos of the aircraft? ;)

Did you use the 300 f/4 with a TC at all... I think this lens is next on my list!

Now that's one way to fill your passengers with confidence. He did have it the correct way up right?

Quick question............

Would you contemplate an "after-market" battery grip or would you save up and pay for a REAL Canon one and why?

I had a genuine Canon one on my 350D, the 'after-market' one that came with it was crap, the rubber was hanging off (camera was second hand..) and the fit was loose.

Will be getting a genuine one for the 60D.

I have a genuine one on my 40D, but had an Amazon one on my 450D. You can see the difference, but for the difference int he money i would go back to an Amazon one.

The only difference i would note in quality was the screw fixing to the body is better on the genuine.

Anyone interested in buying my Canon 50mm f/1.4 and/or a Sigma 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye? Both are used, but in perfect working order with almost no cosmetic marks/damage (the lens hoods for both have some scuff marks; the fish has a scuff mark near the focus scale).

Love both of them, but need to fund a Sigma 85/1.4. Can post pics of the lenses themselves if interested.
