Truly superb! Right place, right time and glad to see her eating. I think cheetah's have a particularly tough time.

Kenya is one of the only places in Africa where you will see lions up trees, its a very odd sight, this lady decided to come down when I was there, I will post some when I get round to it of the full tree with two in, it didn't look very comfortable..
Its blue as it was about 6pm but I quite liked the light..

Really like this one, that blue in the background really adds to it

Quick question............

Would you contemplate an "after-market" battery grip or would you save up and pay for a REAL Canon one and why?

I bought a third party grip only to find at o degrees and colder it did not work which was covered in the smallprint. No good for early November mornings!! Got an original which works fine in the cold.

I liked my after market version for my 500D especially as it had a timer on it - see https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=850020
I kept it on always.

I couldn't find one with a timer for the 5D3 so I haven't bothered and don't seem to notice (I have a nice, cheap Yongnuo wireless timer/release)

poor poor wildebeest. I know the lions have to eat, but the fear in it's face is awful isn't it. Did you see anything small - I know you were wondering about taking a macro lens with you?

Cute car shot Radders. You're v good at this panning lark aren't you :D

Mark

Truly stunning set of moments captured in time.............I take Penel's point but this shows nature "red & raw" and that is no different to the domestic cats will take songbirds & Foxes rabbits.

This one apart from defusing the "fear in the eyes" images really does standout as the eye contact is unusual and captivating.

I think we are/will be seeing other Mr Bridger announcements in regard to awards & prizes from the images taken this trip :D  :)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p
