I did a print on aluminum surface and it came out stunning.

I haven't found a lab that does aluminum paper... I'd like to try aluminum paper if anybody has a lead.

By far the most stunning results I got from a Houston company (HPI) who use a process to glue pearl paper on the back of plexiglass. The photo gets an almost liquid look.

Bloody expensive though, about 400 bucks for a 24x36.

Been playing with timelapse for a bit now since I got the new/used body. Here's some practice stuff. I plan on going out and getting some cool landscapes, but want to get it down first. Not sure if it'll start up in HD, but it looks a bit better if you change over to HD in the settings.

Anyone have a Variable ND Filter on your crop body and if so do you like it?

Do you get vignetting at wider focal lengths?

Otherwise, if I want to take slow shutter waterfall shots but also other things, is a #6 a good 'all-round' compromise vs a #8

Especially like the last scene with the contrails popping into view and then the light fading as the sun drops. The 60D doesn't do time lapse without additional software, does it?

install Magic Lantern and it can. Or buy an intervalometer.

I have a intervalometer I picked up on CL for 10 bucks. I liked that too (trails) and now want to try and find a spot where there will be more. Usually I'm star stacking and I hate when a plane flys through, but that was probably my fav part was learning those could look cool. Oh, and this was shot on my TL go to body the XSi. It uses the same remote and cards as the 60D and only cost me $200 with a grip and 3 batteries.

I thought you could do time lapse on live view with the camera tethered to a laptop?
I may be wrong though, I've never tried it.

how do you guys like this colored version compared to black and white. Personally, I like the colored one.

I want to say over a 1,000. Manual exposure, f10-13 depending on a few things, manual focus, shooting every 7-10 seconds.
