I'd love to see that, same time of day, from 3 feet to the right. Sun just visible from a crack. Something like the shot below ... using the sun for backlight and maybe a peep of it shining thru.

On the baby photo - love the colors, lighting, softness, etc. 8/10.

Here's mine from a recent Yosimite trip (before the fire).

heres another view,i know the color filter prob doesnt work for this shot but i wanted to make the sky very dramatic,i hope to get back there before it snows here,oooops to late,it snowed today haha,

Anyway, I'll comment on Dave's dog - sorry, another negative comment but I have to be honest! It's out of focus and the background is distracting. Also looks like the black and white are clipped, but not easy to expose for both in one shot. Did you shoot raw so you could potentially lift the blacks and turn down the whites? Sorry, only 5/10 mate

No worries mate.
I believe the oof reason is motion blur as it was hand held @ 1/60th.
But I do like the way this lens works in low light.
I also think that I warmed it up a little too much as well.

Still learning and playing around and can only get better right.

Sorry this isn't working for me. I can't ignore the water and the PP looks overdone. I do like the Subject (the rock formation?) but the sunset being so processed almost makes the rocks look just in the way.

i like it you where able to capture some of the actually train/subway which i think adds alot then just the lights.. 7/10

8/10 - Nice lighting and nice subject isolation with the dof, only slight negative for me is the pose, something doesn't seem right with her hands
