Goldfinch in the snow

Not a super close-up, but I rather like the snowy context, and how the colours of a Goldfinch come out.

Actually, its better to select Copy BB Codes rather than copy url. Then you just paste the text right inline with your post. You won't need to use the insert image button at all.

Very nice shot. Its hard to capture such a small bird in flight.

I love the different colours that the European Gold Finch has compared to the ones here.

Thanks everyone for your help - I've got the idea now with the BBcodes, and have updated my first post.

The second larger shot works much better, I like the overall look too, grand job!
