This way, you can lay any shot from the set on top of any other shot, and simply wipe off what you want to hide, or reveal. I use between 3 & 10 different shots for most of my rig-shots. Some of my larger clients require each adjustment to be made on a separate layer so they can turn them on and off in order to see which way they like the shot best. After doing a few of them like this, it just becomes second nature to do them all that way.
