OK you folks down south, we've had a few frosty nights, so get ready, here they come! I like these shots for the many different levels and shades of greens and yellows in the grasses...

Yea! Canada geese!

They're here too, just too far out even with the big lens to get a decent picture of.

Fall rocks for the colours.

Thank you, John. I even heard them honking in the river late last night, totally dark for hours. That's usually the night before The Big Departure.

Great shots Ian. When I lived in Brampton I was near a community park with a lake where the geese congregated. Each morning they would leave making a great racket to head to a farmers corn field a few km away and then return again in the late afternoon. Your images remind me of that activity.

Thanks Bret, and again, nice to see you back. Actually, for the first two shots here I mistakenly had my shutter speed set too slow (1/640), so they aren't as sharp as they could be.
