Here is my second attempt. At least I got the wheels to blur this time.

So my very first rig shot I've done was with an alternate car, and indoors (I don't care for indoor motion shots much, so I underexposed the background on purpose) instead of outdoors. Rig-Pro boom 20' arm (only used 15' though), the rest is stuff I've gathered myself. I also had to improvise due to the fact that there's very little glass or sheetmetal on it, and I could only space the clamps 3' or so apart...And no suction cups could be used. Zip ties were the word of the day ![]() Still...I'm happy with my first shot at this:
Canon 5D MKII Gripped, 16-35mm f/2.8L II, 24-70mm f/2.8L, 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II, 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS 50mm f/1.4, Extender EF 1.4X III, 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye 580EX II x2, 600EX-RT

I would like to do a light painting while doing a rig shot. I need something good, 'cos I had 3 led lights and they were rubish. I also have flash feeder so eletricity is not a problem. Please suggest something Automotive photography

Thanks guys. My shutter speed was 3.2sec for all three. The rear shots were single exposure and the front shot was a 2 exposure composited image. -Jimmy | jton•media

Kevin: See how the ground looks like smoke? This is where you really need a shorter shutter speed to add some detail there. which part of the road? it was actually a really wide road, unless you're talking about the left side of the photo...?
