I just picked up this lens yesterday and went out this morning to take some quick test shots. I have a lot to learn about landscape photography, but think that I will enjoy this lens. Here's a couple of b&w conversions.

i recently traded this lens towards a 35f1.4L and these last few pages are def making me regret it... i see this lens back in my bag in the near future. keep up the good work guys.

I was planning the same trade but I want to keep my 35L and get the 17-40 since my 35 L is superb.

I also have both and wouldn't part with either. I really just need to make the effort to use them more.

Someone went on the hike by the Seven Sacred Pools! :) Great picture. I was there last November and going back this November, plan to take the 6D and 17-40L for that very hike back to the big waterfall.
