id like to see it more in focus and sharp.


My Bag-Canon xti/40d- Lenses-50mm f1.8-55-250mm-18-55mm-tamron 28-75 2.8(saving up for better glass:p)

Looks like the 70s to me (the lighting, figurines, glasses). Maybe this is the look you were going for but it's not working for me.

looks flat and washed out on my screen. Also not sure about the background, I think a higher shooting angle (loosing the flowers or what it is in the background) would be better. Also looks like only the front of the big bottom piece is in focus, the decoration on top looks OOF for me. And I'd edit out that orange spot.


40D, 5D3, a bunch of lenses and other things :cool:

Unless you wanted this look.... your white balance is off and the colours are flat. Focus is - as far as I can see - on the figurine of the couple in front of the cake and with the narrow DOF you got the cake itself soft.
I would have shot at a 30 degree angle pov and not straight.
Also you are not "level" there is a slight tilt to the right.
