Hate the way I took this picture. How would you edit it?

I like to see the "creativity" some have posted! But.... my question to the OP is "Why are you trying to "save" this photo anyway?"

Overexposed and way too busy background, everyone spread out like they all have bad body odor, and look at the guy's pants on the left... nothing personal but my edit would be the DELETE button.

I think you are being to hard on yourself. You have seen what creative editing can do and the real truth is the subjects will be just pleased to see themselves in the group they will not be trying to pick fault.

Yes, we here can see the problems, but we are photographers. I bet those in front of the camera will be delighted with the shot.

Thought I'd give this one a try :)

The trickiest part was balancing the background, the trees to get a bit distracting. I've kept this edit quite simple.

:)

I like the idea of the added in trees! With some time well spent, that would look great!
I didn't care for the grass in the fore-ground either. ;)

One question though Fstop. I noticed that you're using Image-Shack also.
It re-sizes my images when I post to forums and I can't find where un-check it?
I'm almost thinking of another host ..

Never been any good at PP but I thought I'd have a crack anyway as the burn oput behind the left hand guests, particularly the 2nd bridesmaid, I thought was really distracting..........lack of detail in the sky didn't bother me that much but i ain't a pro.

Tomi, that's brilliant. Did you recover that sky or paint it in?

Here's mine..

Did all the usual adjustments but cropped it down a bit as the background wasn't helping things and also fiddled with the dress to give it a bit more detail..
