In order of comments:
1. Do it haha Jk but it is an amazing camera to say the least.
2. It was quite good although the scallops themselves could have used a longer sear.
3. A few weeks - bought it like new for $250 from a local friend and fellow POTN member.

I have had the 1.4 for a long time...I don't think I've used it in 18 months at least.

Thats happens to one of my oem battery, i thought its dead. Attempted to charge many time but failed. Then i tried to charge it with my aftermarket charger and it ressurected.

I left the battery dead in my car for about 3 weeks that's why it happened.

I had a few guys tell me that they would give me ice-cream AND money if they could have 'both' my kidneys... - sounds like a great deal so I booked the appointment! I mean don't we have 3 or 4 of those things?

Vinz,

I have one that fits each of my lenses without a step up or down ring. I only need a 67mm and a 72mm since two of my lenses use the same filter size.

I can really see the difference when there is sky or water in the shot. The difference isn't subtle. I found this out when I started out shooting my G12 a few years ago.

Or hazy situation? Thanks. I will buy one for my coming 35mm siggy.

Thanks again. Also i'll buy a .3 and .6 ND. No UV for me. I used hood all the time for protection sake.

I use polarizers. Not to darken sky, but to remove glare off foliage and water. You can overdo it and lately, I have been shooting more without.

I use a UV filter now. I never used to, but I like it for cleaning the lens. Now I just scrub it with my T-shirt and don't worry about scratching it.

I wouldn't get a .3. That is just a stop. Get at least a 2 or 3 stop imo.

I haven't had any desire to use a ND filter. I realize it's a personal thing but I don't care for long exposure landscape shots shot using an ND filter for the most part. I don't like the way they blur the waves on ocean shots nor do I care for the effect on waterfalls. I think the photographs using ND usually take away from the power of the motion I like. I love the spray from waves crashing on the shore.... and the power of a waterfall, without it being a blurred white.

I know I'm bucking the trend/fad at the moment but I see all kinds of "that's an amazing photo" for ND shots that I find hmmmmmm let's just say, not my cup of tea.

So Vinz, if you post a few ND shots, I won't say anything negative..... I'll just avoid comment. ;)

Drat.

How about a testicle then? Surely those are quite valuable. I always hear guys saying, "Oh, I'd give my left nut for _______"

I partly agree. I agree that I love shots that show the power of the ocean. When people blur the crap out of it with an ND filter, it ruins the shot. Same with powerful waterfalls. BUT... when there are just a few waves that show no power or a beautiful low flow trickly waterfall, I think they are much better captured blurred. Of course, to each their own, but I'm careful to draw strict guidelines like that for photography. You never know when a polarizer or an ND filter will cut the light just enough to turn that little waterfall into tranquility.

not too sure but we don't really need kidneys, they are like all those other organs we don't need... that's the beauty of it!
