Hello,

Recent shot of my car and was hoping for some criticism. Let me know how I could do better.

Shot with 7D, and 2 YN-568 flashes using YN-622 remotes. Edited in NIK software to bring out some contracts, white balance, and sharpen.

I have to admit, BMW has really improved the looks of the 5 series. It used to be downright ugly.

Oh, you meant your photograph. ;) I love the positioning of the car but the reflections are a tad distracting to me. I'm not a car photographer so I'm sure you'll hear more qualified comments from them. We have some good ones here, as you know.

What is the actual color of the car?

I didn't have a CPL with me so the reflections weren't avoidable. But the car is actually a silver/grey.

I think the flash was overkill. The car is too bright.

Here are a few of mine for example with no flash and natural light

Here are some of mine

I don't use my CPL for cars. It's your car, so the solution is to move it. See the links in my Sig.

I love using a CPL for automotive stuff, especially at events. I think it gives the images a cleaner look and stand out from other people's photos when you're unable to move the vehicle.
