It was another very quiet day here, bird-wise, except for a couple of hermit thrushes who happened by. They are the first I have seen this fall.

Thank you, Stuart and Ian. Yes, the pond still serves its purpose, though the large warbler waves seem to have passed for another year. It has been very quiet of late.

Both images are beautiful Al, but I'd agree the tonal range and reflection in the first make that one exceptional.
BTW - you need to tell these 2 they're late; I saw my first HT here about 4 days ago :)
