Wow... that's awesome. Question is, why aren't there any company that makes a lithium rechargeable block that fits right into 580 or 600 speedlites? Makes charging and changing so much easier.

The problem is it still won't go straight through to the capacitor like a HV battery port.

This flash is obviously designed for no need for the HV port.

It actually says Godox FT-16S triggers by the way - http://www.godox.com/CN/NewsPage40.html (external link)

Does anyone know what the difference is between FT-16 and FT-16S ?

(I sure hope they are compatible).

Good for you. Let us know once it arrives.

Vendor that has them in stock in US.

Can you please show me where that is stated. From what I read, you fill out a form, wait for RMA number, send unit back. Which of course is perfectly reasonable. And by all accounts, they have excellent customer service, but I'm disputing your claim that you can get a next day replacement while under warranty.

If something of mine breaks I look into it to see if it happens a lot.

Seems like you are definitely a cheerleader for this product

 What is your motivation for posting in this thread like that? What is going on?

It's very simple: I am not a Canon shooter, I am primarily a Nikon shooter (at least when it comes to times that I use off-camera flash). With POTN being Canon oriented it shouldn't be a surprise I don't post much on it. However, when I heard about new bare bulb flashes only place I could find extensive discussion going on about it was this thread. So it's common sense that's where majority of my posts is. If that's called being a product cheerleader I call you very very very imaginative.

Now that I have answered your question about my motivations to post here will you extend the courtesy back and answer what is your motivation for you seemingly being bent on bashing this product/vendor? Thank you in advance!

Yup my thoughts exactly

Some people are just jerks.

Yup, like ones whose motivation for posting here seems to be bashing.

You should pay better attention before disputing something so it doesn't make you look like a fool. Read this again:

"I received my replacement CL-180 today, aprox 24 hours since talking to Edward about it."

Nope, read that perfectly....Again, is that the policy? Can you please point me to that policy on the website?

If you go back, you can see I ordered one. It is on its way to me.

Face it you signed up in 2008 knowing one day you would like a product in the future just to post about it :)

To be honest I dont venture into the Canon part of the site (lenses and bodies) too often. Just not that into it or care enough.

I still dont get why you think I am bashing. I think you either really thin skinned or butt hurt or a combo of both.

I know you havent been around this thread from the beginning but I will catch you up fast. I have never said the flash sucks, I have never said it breaks easy.

I give a **** about post count. Are you looking at that bit of information to make your mind up about other members!?

Hahahahahaha, I see the auto cleaning feature works very well. So in my own language.

Het kan mij geen bal schelen wat het aantal postings is.
