Glad I didn't go down the 6D route and held out for a while, now I can happily keep my EF-S lenses and use them on my new 70D! The 17-55 is the main reason I resisted going to 6D.

Just got this lens a couple of days ago and haven't been out yet, but took this quick shot of Isabella. Its actually a close crop of the original. The lens holds its sharpness amazingly well. The bokeh is not overly pronounced in this particular shot but still nice.

Can't wait for a photo day to really put her through her range.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

I mostly keep the 70-200 lens on the camera. It's nice to use this one again.

So I badly wanted this lens due to this thread! I have had to send both copies back due to focusing issues. So now I am depressed about it not having and I guess I will get something else and just enjoy all your images that sit in here and make me drool. Argh!

Super shots on this page everyone.

This is a re edit of a 5 exposure hdr of my home bar where I used the latest option to merge then tone the image as a 32 bit file using the Adobe Camera Raw editor. So far, I've been very satisfied with the results I've been getting using this method.
