I know you cant stop people stealing work its the way of the net im afraid these days not that it makes it right though, and I do watermark photos but unless you put it right through the middle of the image people just cut it off or clone it out...

I have contacted their legal, not that it will do much good though..

It is very sad that a very nice picture of a cute critter in a natural setting was butchered so badly. The ironic part of it is that rather than improving the shot, I think it ended up being just silly. It is so obviously faked that I just don't see the point of it all. Someone went to quite a bit of work for virtually no gain. I certainly understand why you would be upset with this but I really feel sorry for the perpetrator. If he can't find something better to do with his "talents" than this, he is wasting a lot of his time.

And suddenly now we love 1DX and seeing other previous cameras such as 1D4 or 1D3/1D2n as not on par with 1DX, and later when newer model is coming then we will say that 1DX was a great camera but not as fast or phenomenal as the newer model [new model with say 25-30mp and 15fps, ISO10000 is same as ISO 25000 on 1DX and focus is 0.000099ms faster than 1DX, when this will end?].

Well, I hope it never ends because that's how improvements come about. On the other hand, is up to us to decide whether the improvements offered are merely incremental and of little importance to our work or whether they represent significant advances which are worth the investment. When I bought my 1D Mk II I thought it was a wonderful camera and I still do. But time marches on and the current Mk X is such a significant improvement that I am sure many feel it is worth the upgrade even though the price has certainly been upgraded as well. I think the more significant improvements will now come with lenses rather than camera bodies.

That's a beautiful picture. I understand there was a glass between you and the cat. That's reassuring. Otherwise, had I been in that situation the speed of my camera would be of secondary importance to the speed of my feet!

Fabulous shot, love this one. bw!

I agree. Such a cute little creature having lunch at home. I don't think we have any of those around here, but the Chipmunks are cute.

I should straighten up that harbour shot. It annoys me!

Well, the colors and exposure are great. A very nice shot indeed. Was that taken at the Douglas Marina? I also very much like the shot of the house with the car parked next to it. It looks a little foreboding. The nighttime lighting certainly does change the character of the landscape.
