What tool are you using for checking/adjusting your colors?

No, I never claimed to be outstanding in the field of photography. I said I was out standing in the field taking photos.

I pretty much do a custom white balance for all my pictures. I use The CCR in Photoshop and then adjust more with photoshop if needed.

Most are too yellow, maybe your screen is showing things too blue?
Check the borders of your images for half things showing up. (eg. plant in #6, seat in #8)
Was this a paid shoot? If so, you should try varying focal lengths, now they're all wide angle, some details can really add to enhance the big picture.

Was not paid. Just for fun.

The hotel was mainly yellow / orange theme + it was night i was doing long exposures on a tripod @ IS0 100

I do custom white balance all my pictures. when shooting in raw everything looks dull on the 5d screen anyway.

Thanks i may crop that plant in 6. I think 8 would look funny cropped but i agree it would look better without the seat in the corner.

#4 is nice
#5 I thing the hot spot on the soffit threw the rest of the photo off
#8 I think is the best of all of them
The white balance on the rest is all over the map and doesn't look natural

The composition is nice, what I would expect to see in a brochure, but getting even lighting using existing lighting like that is not easy to do without multiple exposures

I didn't want to say too much because I am on an uncalibrated monitor at the moment but they all also appear too yellow to me. I would either crop out the dark corners or see if you can brightem them up a little. I was wondering if you use a color checker or anything like that?

Another vote for too yellow. Are the walls painted yellow?

Yeah the walls are yellow and orange. Everything looks fine on my macbook pro but when i view the imagines on my older desktop and older monitor everything does look more orange and yellow and less bright.

To yellow for me, I would tone them down a bit.

Yes you need to fix the white balance. Do you have an expo disk?

No i don't have one. I just set white balance in the raw editor.

I will go ahead and tone them down a little later and see if that helps.

"Fixing" them there didn't work because I suspect that you used the wrong source for reference. Do you see the white paper on the back bar in about the middle of #5? Try using that.
