no rhyme or reason. just won't turn on anymore. so now its going to be used as a prop of some sort

Should do some sort of m80 shot with it blowing up just for fun. Or just figure out why the little switch on the card door isn't working.

I love it! (I bought the non VC version) Every now & then I feel like I get a lot of missed focus shots, but I'm pretty sure it's due to user error. :oops: Every time I stick it on a tripod & test it, it comes out tack sharp. So it must be me! :rolleyes: When I get it right, I'm impressed with how sharp it is, even wide open.

The 1st picture I posted was at f/2.8, as is this one. (and this one is also ISO 1600 ... not too shabby for the ol' XTi!)

The Tammy 17-50 not stabilized is a great lens, I use it almost always.
