I went to Rocky Mountain National Park yesterday for some hiking and photography. I lugged the RB67 around as well as an Olympus OM1.

Developed the roll last night using Xtol at 1:1. Film used was Delta 100 shot at 100.

Tonight I digitized the first negative from the roll. This is my 3rd roll I've ever developed and the 3rd roll through the Mamiya.

I am EXTREMELY happy with the Mamiya and absolutely love using it. I am very new to film and it brings a whole new love of photography to me (I usually shoot digital).

Anyway here is the photo from tonight.

Wow, that is amazing. Did you do any post processing after you scanned?

I just turned up the contrast. The full size image detail is amazing (80 megapixels). The negative was digitized using my Nex 5n and Macro-Takumar 50mm f4 lens and a lightbox. 9 shots stitched then the edges cropped, so the native size is 30" x 40".

The resolution in medium format negatives blows away even my D600. I still like shooting color better with the D600 though.

A couple more digitized, although neither as good as the first (to me anyway)

A couple more from the Mamiya RB67. Took these yesterday while out hiking the Beaver Brook Trail just outside of Golden.

Shot on Delta 100 and developed using Xtol at 1:1.

I am REALLY enjoying the whole film process, especially using a medium format camera. Yesterday I also picked up an Omega D5 XL enlarger for $50.00. Makes for a great excuse to look for a nice 4x5 monorail :D !
