I was just ranting on FB recently about how someone on Tumblr removed the watermark on some of my recent concert photos and replaced them with their own. Another photographer chimed in and said I can get a hard drive filled with photos copyrighted for $35-ish. I always thought that images could only be copyrighted on a per-image basis. Apparently that's how it works in other countries like Canada but according to this guy, you can send any size hard drive in and get all the images copyrighted on it for one low price in the USA.

Can anyone with experience on doing this briefly run thru how this works? I just registered at eco.copyright.gov but there's so much info there and I don't know where to start.

Hi Norkusa - fortunately there's a good deal of info here on POTN about copyright. You can find a lot using the search feature:

Hope this helps :D.
